Verify a PEGTrace package
Paste either the SHA-256 fingerprint printed on the cover page of a PEGTrace document, or the SHA-256 you compute from the PEGTrace file you received. We tell you which one matched and exactly what that establishes. This page never reads or receives your file — you compute the hash yourself.
What this proves: PEGTrace registered this fingerprint at the date shown, against a hash-chained evidence record. What this does not prove: the truth of any finding inside the document. No case number, no case contents, and no analyst identity are revealed.
Paste the SHA-256 of a single evidence recording (an attachment shown on a shared case page) to confirm PEGTrace recorded that exact file. Reveals only the recording date and recording kind — never the case number, contents, or analyst identity.
Labels are facts about addresses, not attribution of people. PEGTrace produces investigative leads, not proof.

No match means this fingerprint was not registered by PEGTrace. Before drawing any conclusion, check two things. First, this page only checks the fingerprint printed on the document — type or paste that printed value exactly, character for character. Second, do not compute a fingerprint from the PDF file itself: it will never match, because the printed fingerprint is taken from the document content before the verification page and cover strip are added to the file. If the printed fingerprint still does not match, PEGTrace has no record of issuing it. Contact support@pegtrace.com with the case reference and the fingerprint string, and do not treat the document as verified until we respond.
